Some fun Pictures

We went down to the Gateway Mall the other day and played in the water fountains. I wanted to put a couple pictures of some of my girls cause I thought they were pretty cute. They have been playing so well together lately. Hallie really has been a great big sister to Annie and loves to be with her. The picture of them on the lawn is how I found them when I came outside. Hallie was pointing out all the birds to Annie. They both have been going through growth spurts lately and are growing up much to quickly for me. Annie is really trying to talk a lot more. The other day Tyler was leaving for work and said good bye to them and Annie waved and said "Adio" It amazes me how quick they are picking up the spanish. Anyway, it is fun being a mom and having such wonderful children!

Do wishes really come true?

We rode the Trax (train) down to temple square last night for family night. Our girls love to go see the reflection pool and the waterfalls. And, of course, Hallie loves to see all the Princess' walking around (the Brides) and believe me there are always lots to see. She is pretty much in heaven being down there. We walked to each water fountain and let them play in and around it. The last one we went to had coins in it and Hallie wanted to know why. Tyler explained that people would make a wish and throw the coin in. He got her a penny and told her to make a wish. She got pretty excited and asked me to help. I was giving her ideas of what she could wish for like to wish for rootbeer, or wish to become a princess, or anything she wanted. She decided to wish she was a princess and then got really nervous to throw in the penny. Finally, together we said her wish and threw it in. She got this cute little grin and just sat there waiting like something was suppose to be happening. I realized she really thought it was going to happen. She was so disappointed and started to cry. Tyler and I both kept telling her that she was our princess but nothing seemed to work. It was so sad. She has such an imagination. Finally we told her we were going to get rootbeer ice cream and she seemed to brighten a little bit. I love her so much and hate it when stuff like this happens to her. Tyler does too, it breaks his heart.

Hot Summer

Lately it has felt like I still live in St. George. It has been in the high 90's up here and we are all dying! You can tell when it is hot outside because all the kids come sit in the shade rather than running around playing. But not Annie! Nothing is stopping her now. She loves to walk around our playground and especially loves the fact that she can chase Hallie and her friends around. It is quite cute! I love seeing her walking!
We had a water day in the court and all the kids came out and played. Hallie's favorite part was the treasure hunt we had for them. We took pictures of different things around the court and put them in envelopes. It was really good cause most of the kids can't read yet and they were pretty quick at finding the next clue. Hallie found one all by herself and was more than excited that she did. She carried the envelope with her most of the day. It still amazes me how quick she is growing up.

We had a fun Weekend.....

We ended up going to St. George this weekend. The girls and I went a day early so we could have more time to play with cousins. Hallie and Annie both love going to visit family and especially loved it this time. We played hard and Mom got sick because of it but it is all worth it to see my girls having so much fun with everyone. Annie learned to walk every where and now you can't stop her. Her favorite game was to start with Grandma and walk to the other room and back. She was so proud of herself and did this non stop the whole time we were there. I am sure Grandma is worn out after all the entertaining she did with Annie but she made a best friend from doing it! Hallie talked Aunt Kensi into giving her a haircut like her Aunt Whitneys and loves it. She walks around telling everyone that she loves her hair. She is getting so big and is really playing well with everyone. I think I had more fun watching her then she had playing. She is such a doll to have around. Here is a picture of her new haircut and her "owie" that she got from running into the table at Grandma Warner's.
Tyler got to ride the motorcycle's and now is even more determined to buy one. Thanks Kerry! Maybe one day we will be able to afford all the fun toys that we want. Tyler gave up his Father's Day in order to take care of me. He is such a wonderful husband and Dad. We love you and appreciate all that you do for us. Now it is back to everyday life of work and cleaning and doing laundry! We are so excited!!!

A few things...

I haven't done a post in a while, so here we go. It is kinda late, but I can't sleep without my sweetie, so I do something till I pass out.

I got the cool job, and today we caught a huge black wasp in the lab, so I stuck it in fixative and we will get some dang cool pictures from it I hope here in the next few days. I will use the Scanning Electron Microscope to look at it, and I will post the pictures here. Neato.

Next, I just found this clip on youtube. In case you don't know, youtube is about the coolest thing on the internet, and this clip is absolutely the best thing that I have seen in a long LONG time.

HOLY FREAKIN' COW!

The last phrase that he sings is "I will conquer, I will conquer!" Wow.

If the link above doesn't work, then search for Paul Potts singing Nessun Dorma on where ever you like to get your videos. Add in a phrase about high quality sound and you will like it even more.

We went to the Canyons Today!

It is our weekly field trip day and we got to go to the Liberty Park Seven Canyon water park. We went a lot last summer and Hallie absolutely loved it but this year Annie got to join in on the fun. She is not afraid of water in any way and even though the water felt like it was -10 degrees, she got right in. And loved the balls even more. She can even say Ball and kept saying it over and over. Hallie has made friends with a little boy,Cole, that just moved into our court and has so much fun with him. They both love animals and have a blast pretending to be different animals everywhere they go. This is a picture of them at the canyons. Today they were a gorilla and frog. Which meant they were on their knees and knuckles the whole time. It was pretty cute. I love seeing Hallie make friends with other little kids. She is starting to learn to share and be nice to them because of it. I love it. I also had to put this picture of Annie on here. She has formed this habit of eating breakfast with her dad from his bowl of cereal every morning. And as you can see from the picture she seems to think she is the princesses and life is here to meet her every demand.

I Bellieve I Can Fly

Hallie informed me yesterday she was going to fly. She got up on the couch and got ready to leap. She was standing on the roman couch and I thought she was going to jump to the middle of the couch but she had a much greater goal in mind. She crouched down and put her arms out in front of her. With the determined look on her face she took off. And to our surprise she was not jumping to the middle of the couch but to the other side of the couch ( which is about 7 feet away). The determined look soon left and a look of fear came. I wish I had a picture. She kept her feet all tucked up and soon hit head first into the floor/bottom of couch. It took her a minute to realize what happened and then she started crying and of course I was laughing my head off. She actually did really good for her little body and covered more distance than should have been possible. I think her dreams of flying have come to a halt for awhile.

Date Night

This doesn't happen very often for Tyler and I. I was quite surprised to get a phone call from our neighbors Josh and Charity the other night telling us that they were going to baby sit our girls while we went out. We have such awesome people in our ward. So tonight we are going to the Temple and going to get dinner in the cafeteria!!! I know, living in Salt Lake we for sure could come up with a more adventurous date but we love going to the Temple together (another thing that doesn't happen to much.) We are excited and so are the girls. They love Josh and Charity!

Day at Lagoon

Kensi and her friends came up this weekend. In between playing we got to hang out with them. My girls love it when family comes and so do I. Plus, Kensi is always so much fun to have around. (oh and this picture of her is a self portrait. I am sure that doesn't surprise anyone!) On Saturday we went to Lagoon. Our good friends, Jon and Amy, gave us free tickets! They are the best people by the way. Anyway, We went to Lagoona Beach to start off the day and the girls loved it. Here is a little something to show you how different our girls are. Halllie doesn't just jump in the water. She has to take her time and make sure that everything is safe to enter. Then she slowly works her way into the water. Annie just plows right in and never looks back. She was made to be in the water.
It was so much fun watching Hallie ride some of the Kiddieland rides. She went by herself and had a blast. She became quite the pro at riding the cars. Annie was to little for most of the rides but loved the ferris wheel, train, and merry go round. She just loves being around everyone and being outside.
Kensi watched the girls while Tyler and I rode a couple of rides. I forgot how much fun it is to ride roller coasters. Thanks Kensi! We didn't leave the park until 9:00 so I thought the girls would be dead tired. Hallie made it about 4 seconds in the car and Annie hit Hyper mode on the way home and entertained us the whole way. She sure can be a nut!
