So after about 14 hours of travel, I sit in a swanky (read cheap) hotel room in luxurious (fly-speck) Salina, Kansas. I am about 2.5 hours from the airport where i will pick Bree and the girls up in the morning.
Not a real scenic drive through the last part of Colorado and the entirety of Kansas. Had fun though, listening to my tunes and drinking energy drinks to stay awake, because oh yeah: we went to bed about 11, Annie woke up at 2 and puked, Hallie woke up just after and cried cause she was scared of something, waking Annie back up. Then the rest of the "night" was spent hearing every noise they made and waking up at 5 to make this wonderful drive.
Not the best start to our adventure.

The week has come...
To move to Missouri. I can't really say how excited I am but I for sure can tell you that Tyler has waited for this week to arrive forever. He is beyond ready and excited to go. He leaves early Wednesday morning and will be driving our van out there for us. It is a long drive but he seems to be ok with making it. I think he is amazing. Then me and the girls and my mom fly out early Thursday morning. My mom is coming with us to help us get organized. I am so glad that she is coming too. What would I do without my mom!
I have really mixed feelings about going. I really am excited to be out there and to have our own place and stuff again. But it is going to be hard leaving family behind. We have absolutely loved being here for these last 3 months and will miss everyone so much. Hallie and Annie have gotten to know all their cousins, Aunt, Uncles, Grandma's, and Grandpa's so much better and we will forever be grateful for that. We will try to be better about updating so that you can all go on this adventure with us.
P.S. I bought some blue shorts the other day and absolutely loved it. I am going to have so much fun with our little Barry. I just can't wait to meet him!

***Tyler adds:
The shorts she bought were for the little man in the oven, not for her. And I am really excited to go, but Bree is right, we have enjoyed our time here much more than I thought we might. In fact, we have enjoyed it so much that we are now changing our plans, and will probably be back here to practice when we are all done. (when we are around 70).
I will post when I get to wherever I end up at the end of the drive the first day, then when we get to the house. Stay tuned.

Pictures of the boy
Ok, put on your 3D glasses or whatever you think will help you see this little dude. The first picture he is in profile and has his hand up in front of his face (like the thinker that he may very well be). you can see his eye, nose and lips. Wow, it is easier to see with just the little picture, so get that in your head and then look at the bigger one. This is a 3D picture, not just a normal ultrasound, so you can see his little face a bit easier, along with his right templar lobe.
This one is the regular ultrasound type picture. It proves the manliness that is inherent in all the man-children. I will not explain. You see it or you don't. If you can't see it, go get your husbands, they should be able to.
By the way, his name will be Barry Douglas Warner.

THE BEST PARK EVER, little time left, sounding the retreat, and a request.
Said that one for you Tyson... Lori showed us a cool park the other day, so we took the kids to go check it out. Here are the resulting pictures:
This thing spun real fast, Tyson fell off of it.

Classic see-saw, or however it is that you spell it.
Who is really having more fun here anyway?
This is just a SMALL example of my possible vert. This is where Annie gets it from.

Hallie is Spider-Girl.
The tire swing was the part they all cried about the least.

So, as we draw nearer to our time to go to Missouri, we have decided that Annie likes to pee on the floor more than in the potty. We surrender. She goes back into the diapers.

This kind of makes us sad, but we think that she is going through enough to let us wait. One of the things she was going through was big girl panties. She would poo into them in such quantity and quality that they were immediately relegated to the nearest trash receptacle.

Also would you all watch the counter, we have a special gift for the 1000th visitor to our blog.

Our little Hallie
The last couple of days I have been amazed at a couple of things that Hallie has been doing. First, she was asked to give her first talk in primary. Most of you know that Hallie is pretty shy and doesn't like to talk to people that she doesn't know. But she was so excited to give the talk. She was mad that she had to go to class first but she finally got her turn. Tyler helped her and said she did awesome. So I learned that she loves to give talks and be in front of people that way.
Second, she is the best little mom. Annie has learned to tune Tyler and I out whenever we say anything, but if Hallie says it she will do it right away. Since Annie got her new bed she has been a little pill to put down for the
We sure love our little Hallie. She brings so much to our family. I love having a girl as our first born. She is absolutely amazing.

Nightly routine...
What started out as a short and quick nightly routine with our girls has somehow turned into the longest and most drawn out thing you could ever come up with. Let me start with what we do most nights.
Take a bath
Get on pajamas
go to the bathroom
pick a book
read the book
say prayers
climb into bed
sing a song
go over what is going to happen the next day (thanks to Hallie)
get a drink
put Hallie back in bed two or three times
Kids finally fall asleep
We got the girls a bunk bed a couple of weeks ago but never put Annie in it because we didn't have a mattress so she continued to sleep in the crib. Our good friend Abbie gave us a mattress today so we decided to try it out with Annie. I have not seen Annie so excited about something. She climbed on the bed and just giggled and giggled. She made both me and Tyler come look and wouldn't quite telling us how much she "lubbed her new bed." We went through the normal routine only Hallie stayed in bed (we have learned what threats work with her now). So we walk out of the room and barely make it into the kitchen (20 feet away) and the door flies open and Annie comes out and just stands there with a big grin. I couldn't stop laughing. She was so proud of herself that she could finally get out of bed and come out like Hallie usually does. We only had to put her back in bed about 3 or 4 times.
