Announcement...

I posted this on facebook but if you are like me and never on there, I thought I would post on here for you. We are having baby #5 on or around October 13th! We are soooo excited and soooo nervous. I know we said we were done at 4 but we all know how that goes when you just know that you have another coming and you can't say no! I am really hoping this is the last one but not going to say it this time cause I don't want to jinx myself again!

As for what we think we are having...if you have followed us in the past, then you know that we rely a lot on Hallie to determine this. She says we are having a baby brother! Barry cried at this. He said "Nooooo, I am the brother."

Match Day!

Tyler matched to his residency today. We will be staying here in Warren, Oh for the next 3 years. He is doing Internal Medicine. I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished.

Dear Natalie,

Our little sweetheart. You make us all laugh and love so much more now that you are in the family. Who would of thought that such a tiny little person could have so much personality. I dare say that you wear the pants in this house. You have been sick the past week and little bit and it breaks my heart to see you this way. But I love that you have been falling asleep in my arms and cuddling me a whole lot more. I love your cheek to cheek hugs and the puckered lips kisses that you give away so freely. You used to be a daddy's girl but I think I am winning you over day by day. Don't tell Dad though cause it will make him very sad.

Some things you are doing lately:
-You run everywhere and boy are you fast. I have a hard keeping up with you when we are out of the house.
-You are a quiet destroyer. I can always tell where you have been because there is always a pile of something left out.
-I don't know why but you have a fascination with the garbage can. I have to check it often because you love to throw things away. I have found a wii remote, your blanket, my running shoes, cups, toys, and much more in there already.
-You can say bye, mom, dad, back pack, bubba, baby, barry, hi, and come here "mere". It is fun to hear your little voice. So sweet and innocent.
-You love to walk by yourself and usually throw a fit when I have to carry you into a store or something. But everyone around loves seeing this cute little person walking. I think you know this cause you smile and wave at everyone you pass.
-You point at your nose whenever you get nervous or shy about something.

I love you more than you will ever know. Keep being so sweet and wonderful.

Love times infinity, Mom

Dear Barry,

My one and only son, and if you had your way, you would keep it that way. I asked you the other day if you wanted a new brother and you started crying and saying "I am the brother." I guess you just always want to be the one to take care of all your sisters. You are at such an adorable time in your life. Dad and I are always smiling at you and saying "he is just so cute" We sure love you buddy and love what you have brought to our family. You are for sure a cuddly little dude and love to hug and kiss on Mom and Dad. We LOVE it.

Here is a few things that you are up to lately:
-You love to talk. In fact, you will corner strangers in the store and start a full conversation with them. It always goes like this
Barry- what's your name?
Person- Bob
Barry-Oh, my name barry and this my mom. (it is adorable)
-You have gotten into telling knock knock jokes. You have 3 that you tell over and over. Knock, Knock... who's there...Monster truck...Monster truck who...Monster truck go in the mud. You also tell about the race car on the track and the train on the train track
-We figured out to put vitamins in your chocolate milk and it has made the world of difference in you. So Happy all the time now.
-You love anything that says boy...Monster trucks, trains, cars, balls, you name it and you love it.
-we have all our bikes in the basement and you love to be down there riding them. You would do it all day if I let you. But recently we put the kid music down there and you dance to it while you are riding you bike.
-You are still the pickiest little eater but at least you will try a bite of what we make for dinner now.
-You love to sleep. Bed time is at 8 and if we wake you before 8 the next morning you are very upset. And you still don't get out of your bed on your own yet. You wait for me to come get you and then always say "hi mom, is it morning now"
-You love to wear hats and look so cute in them.

I love you so much Buddy. You bring so much joy into my life and every day I am so thankful to have you in our sweet, little family.

Love you forever, Mom

Dear Annie,

Oh my little Donk. Just thinking of you brings a smile to my face. I love everything about you and all that you are. I love that you love being older. You just turned 6 years old last week and it was so fun watching you get excited about your day. You are so special to me Annie. I love the way you run and hug me. I love how you have to give me two hugs and two kisses before you go to school. I love how independent you are and how eager you are to try new things. You really are an amazing daughter. You love being with your family and are always so concerned that we are all ok and together.

Some of the things that you are up to right now...
-You are getting so good at reading. You kindergarten teacher is always telling me how smart you are and how you catch on to things so quick. You really do and I love watching as you are figuring out the whole reading thing. You are really good at it.
-You have no front, top teeth right now and I love calling you toothless. You pulled out your last 3 teeth during Sacrament meeting. Everyone around is always shocked that you do it by yourself and how determined you are to get them out.
-You love to color and draw. You will spend hours doing this.
-You are so good with Barry. He loves to play catch with you and I think you finally found someone who shares your love of jumping with.
-You love doing your chores and earning tickets. But even if you didn't get tickets, you would still love doing your chores. I hope you don't ever grow out of this.

You mean the world to me and I am so lucky to be your Mom. I love you to the moon and back first.

Love always, Mom

Dear Hallie,

I have been looking at you lately and am in disbelief at how big and grown up you are getting. You will be turning 8 in April and you are so excited to get baptised. We have been having lots of conversations about this and to tell you the truth, I think you know more about baptism then I do! I can't wait for that day to come and to see you in all white. You bring so much joy to my life and I can't tell you enough how much you mean to me. I feel so blessed to have you as my first child. You are the biggest helper around the house and you are so fun to hang out with. I love having girls.
Some of the things you are up to right now....
-You just got your ears pierced. We went to the mall and had them done and I had to hold you on my lap cause you were so scared (it was your idea to get them, I promise!) and after getting them done we went to play at the play area. You played for about 23 seconds and then came and sat by me and Dad. You crossed your legs, looked at me and said "I just feel to big for this place now."
-You love school and love to talk about everything that goes on during the day with your friends. I think you even have a couple of crushes on some boys but you won't come out and tell me. You just grin and giggle sometimes.
-You can do your own hair now and you are getting really good at it. It still surprises me when you come out all ready for school by yourself.
-You are reading the Book of Mormon with Dad and Annie everynight. You remember a lot about it and are always asking important questions.
-You are also a pro at reading now. You read to Barry and Natalie all the time.

I love you so much and hope you always remember how wonderful and special you are!

Love always, Mom
