It is done!
The day has finally come for our schooling career to be over. Tyler finished his last day of school today and now has a 2 month break before residency begins. If I could shout and jump up and down on this blog, then that is what I would be doing.
I am so proud of him for all that he has accomplished. He has worked hard to get through Medical School and he has done an amazing job doing it. Not only has he learned a WHOLE bunch of medical stuff but he has continued to be a very dedicated father and husband. I honestly can say that he made these last 4 years a blast. He also got great reviews from each of the Doctors that he followed during 3rd and 4th year. Each one always stating what an excellent Dr. he will make. I fully agree with all of them and think that he will be outstanding.
We all love you so much and just want you to know how much we appreciate all the hard work you have done and will do for us. Way to go DAD.

Happy Birthday Hallie
This was a big birthday for you! You have been so excited cause you knew you would be getting baptized at 8. I remember when you were 4 and 5 you absolutely refused to be baptized. You went to someone else baptism and got so scared when the had to go under water. You decided you would just not ever be baptized and that was that. I think once you got used to being in water and learned to go under all on your own this helped you over come the fear. When you turned 6 you were all excited again and couldn't wait for 2 more years!
Now we have to wait for May to come because we are getting you baptized in Nauvoo since Grandma and Grandpas will be there with us. I am so excited for you. I can't believe that you are 8 years old now. Where has the time gone?
You are into new thing now. Princess's are quickly fading from your life (although, Annie can talk you into dressing up with her once in awhile!) and you are starting to get into jewelry and nail polish and clothes and older kid things. It is a really fun stage you are at right now!
Here are 8 things we love about you:
1- you love to stay in your pajamas all day if you can. Saturdays are your new favorite day for this very reason
2- you are so good at reading now and love to go to the library and pick out new chapter books for you to read. We also had to get you a reading lamp for your bed so you can stay up late and read!
3- you can do your own hair now and you are getting really good at it
4- you also pick out your own clothes and have really good taste. Very stylish!
5- you are an amazing helper to Mom.
6- You love to be outside and swinging and jumping and organizing all the kids into what you will play
7- you are a wonderful little artist and write the best books!
8- You have such a desire to do what is right.
We love you so much bubba and hope that you know how special you are!

Did you know...
I am not very good at updating the blog lately? I have had no energy to do anything so , of course, the blog is the very last thing that I think of. Here are a few things that we have been up to...
We went to a drive in theater and ate hamburgers and drank root beer! Such a fun night and one that we will repeat often I am sure.

I am not sure why Annie is crying in this picture but I can promise you it wasn't long lived! Tyler was super Dad this night and built them all their very own car. I think Barry lived in this car for 2 days straight.
She is getting so big now...but never to big to bring her doll along for the ride.
See, much happier now...or is that a fake smile? Either way, she is a doll.
