Happy Heart Day

Hope the day is as special for you as it is for us! 9 years ago Tyler and I went on our first blind date. It has been an adventure ever since and I know it will be forever more! Here are some fun pics of what we have been up to lately!

Tyler took the girls to a "Princess Ball" that our stake put on. He said it was the best thing ever and is looking forward to next year. They let each girl walk down the red carpet with her crown on and the spot light on them. Then they danced the night away. Hallie and Annie were dancing maniacs!
Tat Tat (aka Natalie) turned 4 months and now is almost 5 months. Words can not describe the pure love she brings to our family. It is so much fun having her with us. Don't you absolutely love those blue eyes! I do if you can't tell from all the pictures!

Annie loved having her friends over for a fun birthday party! She kept saying "This is the best day of my life!" I hope she will always be that easy to please.
Barry and Annie pudding painting to help make the winter blues go away! They were in heaven that they got to eat it and put it wherever they wanted!

Hope you all of a wonderful Valentines Day!

Happy Birthday Donk!

Look who turned 5!

Let me just start by saying how much love, laughter, squealing, giggling, crying, jumping, dancing, singing, and running you bring to our family. You truly are a ray of sunshine to us. Our lives would not be complete without you. Thanks for putting up with us as we try and figure out this parenting thing. You are a great one to practice on cause you do a little of everything! And I say that will a smile.
I need to get better at writing down all the funny things you say cause you are constantly making us laugh. And your little voice is adorable when you try and pronounce new words. You win your Dad over every time you ask for something using Spanish and I am sure you know it cause you always smile at him with a twinkle in your eye.
One of my favorite things about you is your love of hugging. Ever since you where a little baby you loved to hug. Every time you saw Mom and Dad hugging you would squeal and hold out your little arms until we picked you up. You still run to us and join in on the hugs. We absolutely love it and hope you always do!
I love watching you dance. You just somehow move with the music in such an effortless way. You have got the moves and you know how to show it! For your birthday this year you got dance outfits and you look so adorable in them. They fit your personality perfectly. Keep dancing...you've got a real talent!
I love you so much and hope that you will always know that. One night I told you that I love you more than anything and guess what you said "I know Mom, you always tell me that." And I will continue to "always" tell you that cause it is so true. You mean the world to me!

Happy 5th Birthday Sweetheart.

Best News....

At least for me and my family! Tyler just informed me that the residency that he
will be doing is only 3 years not 4. What?!? How do you forget to tell your wife
this vital information. I almost cried when he told me. That means, we only have 4 years
and 4 months left until we are done! Not the 5 and 4 that I thought. I still am busting with
excitement and would probably cry if anyone asked me about it right now!

Who is who?

Who is who and which ones look alike?

Happenings in the Warner home

I love when we have fun little conversations with our kids and I get to post about them because it is so fun to go back and reread them. Tyler and I did that the other day for about an hour and just laughed at all that we had forgotten!
Last night I was doing homework with Hallie. Let me just say that it is not the easiest thing to do. She for some reason does not like doing homework and throws much fit about it. It usually ends up with Mom frustrated and Hallie crying. Last night was no different. She had to read a book and then answer questions about it, then write 3 of her own sentences. Here goes:

M: What do you want your 1st sentence to say?
H: "We like to play hide and seek together."
M: Ok, sound it out and then write it down.
H: How do you write "play"?
M: sound it out
H: p...l.....a.....ummmm.
M: Kindof a hard one, there is a y at the end of it.
H: y and then e
M: no there is no e at the end of it.
H: yes there is Mom, my teacher told me there was an e at the end of play.
M: Nope, I am pretty sure that I know how to spell play. Hey dad, how do you spell play?
D: P..L..A..Y
H: well, you are both wrong cause my teacher is way smarter than both of you and she told me it has an e at the end.
M: ok, write it down.

And then Annie's conversation the other night! We put them to bed and then 5 minutes later they both come walking into the kitchen:
H: I just came down to get my teddy bear.
A: and I just came down for nothing. (big smile!)

The other night Natalie sneezed a couple times and I hear from the other room from Annie "Mom, Nat just lessed youed!" She calls her sneezes lessed yous! Guess it comes from us saying bless you after she sneezes.

And Barry has just been screaming during all of this!

Finally....

Here are some pictures of Christmas and other random stuff during December.

We found fun places to read in!

Natalie just got sweeter and more loveable!
We went to a fun Christmas tree show with our friends in Pennsylvania.

Barry loved all the fun animals and lights

We shoveled the driveway more than once!

Hallie somehow thought posing for the camera was more fun than shoveling the walk!

Yes, we even put our 2 year old to work.
Tyler thought I was slacking on the job. It's not my fault his shovel
could hold more snow than mine!
Semi Family picture!
Christmas Eve Jammies!

I love Barry's eyes in this picture. He is always doing that!
After Santa came to our house. Yes, I was still awake after he came!
Annie dancing in her new dress! She added the veil to complete the outfit.
Our little man in his new wheels. This was the fav toy this year! It can surprise you how many kids can fit on it. 4 is our top right now!

And to finish it off with a cherry on top......
