Happy Birthday Hallie

What a fun day we had with Hallie! She got to share her birthday with the Easter egg hunts and she loved it. I think Hallie is going to be the birthday queen. She has already learned that the day is all about her and she can pretty much do whatever she wants. A couple days before her actual birthday she had already requested for Dad to take her to lunch and to be able to watch the movies that she wanted. Of course, Dad took her to lunch and they had a blast! They went to a restaurant called "Happy Mexican." I think she wanted to go there because one time she had seen them sing happy birthday to someone and put a sombrero on them. It's all about getting all the attention for yourself right!
We had a great day of playing at the park, eating her favorite dinner, eating cake, and just playing. She also got a night up, which was my favorite part! Tyler was at priesthood session so it was just me and her. We played Princess Memory and laughed our heads off. She thought Aladdin was very muscular and it made her giggle every time that card got turned over. She is getting so big and I absolutely love it!
6 things we love about Hallie:

*She is always creating something. She loves to draw and write and has created thousands of books. She is getting really good at the drawing thing too!
*She is the best at giving hugs and kisses and absolutely loves to cuddle
*She is such a good big sister. Always taking care of Barry and Annie and loves to play with both of them
*She loves food and is so good to try most everything. If only that could rub off on her siblings!
*She has the best laugh and every time she does laugh it makes me giggle.
*If she can corner you, she will talk your ear off and never runs out of things to say!

We love you to the moon and back Bubba!

What a Day...

Do you ever have days (or weeks) that you just want to forget? Ok, so my day was not so bad but my week has been a hard one. I picked Hallie up yesterday and today and all she did from the moment she got in the van to when she went to sleep was cry and whine, Barry thinks that life only goes on when he is in my arms, and little Annie has figured out that she can do whatever she wants if she does it quick enough ( eat all the candy, push barry down, dump out all the shampoo, etc.) My laundry is piled up way to high, both the clean and the dirty. I haven't made my bed in a week, the dishes only get done because I can't pile anymore in the sink or the counter. I think you are getting my point here.
But I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have 3 healthy, beautiful children, a husband that loves me, and the blessing of the Gospel in my life. Life couldn't get any better. I am so thankful for what I have and for the hard weeks that teach me to be better. I am grateful that I am not perfect and that I get to learn from each day. Want to know what I learned today... Cherish the Moments with your children.

My Cousin

So I just found my cousins website while blog hopping. I know, it sounds like I am not very close to her but actually, our families are very close. We actually lived together in the same house twice while growing up. That was 13 kids and 4 adults in the same house! It was awesome. Anyway, I found her new website and had to share it because I am totally amazed at how wonderful she is. I always new that she sang but to tell the truth I have never heard her sing. (She is my baby sisters age so we never hung out). Go check her out and listen to that awesome, amazing, beautiful voice that she has. She just wrote 3 songs and had them recorded. Wow is all I can say! Miki you are such an example of doing what you dream.

Cry if you want to

I want to cry like never before.... and that is so not me. This pregnancy is throwing me in directions that I have never been before and I don't like it. I bawled at the end of the movie "Cars" the other day. You know, when Mcqueen goes back to help The King cross the finish line. Bawled. I read an email from Tyler's school about a girl that had a heart attack and they were encouraging everyone to take care of their "school" Family. Bawled. We got more snow yesterday and we can't go outside today. Bawled.
This may seem normal to everyone out there but you don't understand who I am. I DO NOT CRY. Well, unless I am sick and my mom calls me!! But mostly I am a non cryer. I think my husband is going crazy.... don't you laugh a lot when you start to go crazy? My kids don't know who I am and are always looking at me weird.
And you know what my husband tells me..... suck it up! Well, give me 8 or so months and I will suck it up.

Oh, and this picture makes me want to cry. This is me prego with Barry about a week before he final arrived. Can one really get this big. Why yes I can!

Random Cuteness

The girls love jumping on the beds but are always being told not to. So what do we do when we go to a Hotel? We jump on the bed!
Barry is a huge fan of Hallie and Annie. He loves to be with them. He loves to climb up and sit with Hallie to watch a movie! I love the hand on the knee.
Annie loves to play with ALL her dolls. She lines them up on the couch then teaches them.

Barry has mastered the climbing up and down of the stairs. Only fell one time so far.

Tyler has been doing a workout program called P90X and the girls love to do it with him. Well, Hallie loves to do it with him and Annie loves to play house while they workout. Notice
the dolls in my slippers. They are taking a nap!

Happy Birthday Annie

I know this is over a week late but life has not been easy lately. Anyway, Here is a big shout out to our new 4 year old! She was so excited for her birthday to come and has been planning her party invite list for at least 8 months. Which changed daily according to who was being nice to her or not. Hallie was probably invited and uninvited a million times.
She had a great day and loved all the attention. When it was time for bed she said "does this mean my birthday is over?" She took advantage of every possible second of the day. Starting with school and taking treats to having her very first birthday princess/prince party.

We love having Annie in our home and laugh everyday at the things she says and does. She is our little helper and loves to be the big sister to Barry. Which means she is even more excited for this new baby to come. I love how Annie loves to read books, love how she loves me to watch movies with her, love her love of jumping and turning on and off lights, love her adorable laugh, love how she is the best compliment giver ever, love how she isn't afraid to say what she believes, and love that I get to be her mom.
