Red Butte Garden

We have our Field trip group that once a week we go and do some sort of field trip. This week it was free day at the Red Butte Garden ,which is up on the UofU campus, so we decided to give it a try. First thing we learned- free day means everyone in the world is going to be there and it is worth it to just pay the 4 dollars on another day. But other than that my girls loved it. They have a children's area with water and lots of stuff to climb on so that is where we spent most of our time. I couldn't slow Hallie down to take a picture but here is what we got of her. Annie found the water and seemed quite content to just sit and lounge in it. She sat there for probably 30 min. before she started shivering. And even then, she was not happy that we took her out of the water. She is quite the daring little chunk! Hallie's favorite part was the shuttle ride. We had to park our car and take the shuttle to the actual garden. The University shuttles are known for their fast and crazy drivers and our driver didn't let us down. Hallie would slide across the seats and scream and yell "Do it again." She was not happy to get off. It was such a fun day and great weather. I absolutely love being a mom and love that I get to stay home with them and enjoy all these adventures together.
