Here are a few of the things that I have been working on. It really has been fun to learn to sew and I hope that I can continue to get better at it. I put an applique on these shirts for the girls. My first time so I was pretty proud of myself for doing such a good job!!! Hallie is really into learning the letters
right now and was so excited that I had made her a shirt with an H on it. She made sure that her teachers saw it.I also just made this blanket for my friend who just had a baby girl. I decided to put a flower in the middle of it just for the fun of it and I think it turned out cute. Oh, and of course my trusty new sewing machine. It works great and is really easy to learn on. I am so glad that I got a cheap one and didn't have to try and figure out all the fancy buttons.

What a cute idea! I have never done appliques before are they hard? I am inspired and maybe I can pull my machine out and get started on my christmas projects. way to go Bree!!!

Isn't it funny how we find so much going in creating things. I have been using my machine a lot lately and find myself really enjoying it. My machine was a graduation present and when I got it, I wasn't sure how to react. But now I am so grateful I have it.
That is joy not going in creating things. Holy cow.
Look at you Bree! You make one cute blanket and now you are taking off! I'm so glad there are so many people in the family that sew, so I will never have to!!:) Cause I stink at sewing!! I look up to people who can thread a sewing machine so imagine what I think of you right now?! Way to go and all the stuff you began on looks really great (i'd buy them).
how fun those shirts look so cute and those pictures of the girls are so pretty tell annie and hallie hi for me and that i love them and miss them so much! i really do miss you guys a ton! maybe its just knowing that you guys are so far away either way i just miss you guys and cant wait to see you agian... whenever that will be!
