The ultrasound showed that she was 8 lbs 13 oz with 5 days to still gain weight!Just to clear things up about the c-section... My doc gave me the option after hearing her weight of how I wanted to deliver her. The thing with gestational diabetes babies is that they gain most of their weight in the shoulders. Seeing how I had such a hard time with Barry and his shoulders at 7 lbs 15 oz, I chose to do the c-section. Just to be on the safe side. It scares the crap out of me but luckily my Mom will be here for the 2 week recovery!
We will keep you all updated and hopefully get some pictures on here later Sunday!
On a side note, here is a funny from Hallie:
Tyler and I were putting them all to bed last night and for some reason Hallie was a little hyper! We were all kneeling down ready for prayers and she had a towel on her head running around. Tyler asked her several different times to come kneel down. Finally he got frustrated and said "Hallie, how many times have I asked you to come sit down?"
Hallie finally takes off the towel and says "I don't know, maybe like 2 times?"
Tyler "No, I have asked you three times now. Please come kneel down."
Hallie mumbles "it was basically just a guess anyway!"
Random picture for you of my family eating birthday cake for Tyler!

Good luck. I'm excited for you and hope everything goes well.
You learn something new everyday! I didn't know that babies gain most of their weight in the shoulders when you have G.D. That's why I had to do the c-section with Jackson after pushing for almost 4 hours, his shoulders were to big. My Dr. even said there was no way those shoulders would've come out once he saw him! I'm so excited for you! Good luck with everything!
Ha ha ha Thanks for the smile you brought to my face with hallies comment. I have too many nights where I feel like I have been put on mute as far as the girls are concerned so I am glad someone else deals with it as well. But the "it was just a guess" part cracked me up :)
Good luck!! You'll have to post all about your c-section, I'm scared to death! Mine's gonna be around the 1st of Nov. and I just don't know what to expect.. I hope yours goes really well so you can calm my nerves. Also, you look SO amazing in your 35 week pic, just gorgeous! I wish I looked that good. I'm 31 and look like a whale.. hence the reason I just post pics of my kids on the blog, and not me! ha! Seriously. Miss you, good luck with everything!! Can't wait to see pics of the sweet baby!
Don't fret about the c-section. They really aren't that bad. Just take your pain meds and give yourself a good 2 weeks to recover at least. You are going to do great! Good Luck!
The Hallie story just made me laugh out loud. I miss her.
Good luck. I wish I could bring you dinner or babysit your kids...but you moved.
Will you put your new address on the website please.
I am so excited for you!! And....c-sections might sometimes be a blessing? I'd hate to push out a 9+ pounder! I'm guessing she comes out at about 9 lbs. 4 oz. Good luck! I can't wait to see pictures of her! BTW....We have to ask more than 3 times to get the kids to kneel for prayers. And, sometimes, they never quite make it to the knees!:) We love them anyway, though!
basically just a guess -- haha!!
good luck this weekend! can't wait to hear more news. xoxo
Cousins!!! Good luck with the baby! How exciting. We're glad to have another Warner in this world :)
Tyler and Bree,
You guys are awesome. We miss you and think about you a lot. Congratulations on #4. With this new addition to your family (love the name, by the way), I sort of hope that you will now understand why Julie and I aren't quite right.
Now, go get some sleep!
Don't be nervous about the c-section. I promise it isn't as bad as it sounds. I actually like it a whole lot better than the other way. Recovery was definitely different, and a little longer, but not horrible. You're a strong gal anyway. You'll be up and at 'em in no time. Good luck!!
I can't believe she is almost here. I know you will be great even after your C-section. I am glad you have your mom coming to help you with the lifting and take some of the load off. Good luck with everything.
