Family Fun or Craziness?

Summer is ending...
I never thought I would be glad to see summer come to an end but I am. It will be nice to get back into a routine with school and everything. Tyler goes back to school on Monday and then it is crazy life for the next four months. He will be going to sch
ool full time and working full time. Needless to say, we won't be seeing much of him but once this semester is over then no more working and going to school. It will be so wonderful. Hallie is going through such a wonderful phase right now. She has started talking back and trying to get her way with everything. Sometimes it can be very frustrating but I am learning that prayer works better than anything. It must be so hard for her right now thinking that she is big and wanting to do everything that we do as adults but learning that she c
an't. She really is such a wonderful daughter and trying to be so good.
Annie is also going through different stages and getting so big. She is really starting to talk and loves to say the names of everyone in the room. She said "elephant" the other day and it was as clear as anything. She loves animals and is really good at making all the animal noises. Of course her favorite is the elephant and tiger. Other than that, we have a pretty laid back life right now.

Happy Birthday DAD
Tyler turns 27 today! But he is still younger than me- somehow this is never going to be a good thing!!! In the Warner family they seem to think that your birthday begins the week before the actual d
ay and that you can pretty much have whatever you want for that week. Needless to say it has been a long week of trying to retrain him to think otherwis
e. Although it has been a great week of laughing over it. Anyway the day finally came and we are so happy to be able to spend this time with him. He is such an awesome Husband and Dad and we hope this day turns out to be just as wonderful as he is! Our neighbor decorated this cake for him. For those of you who don't know who that is it is "Strongbad" a cartoon character that he absolutely loves. Happy Birthday Honey.
Here are some fun pictures of our last trip to St. George. We stayed with Tyson and
Lori and had so much fun. Thanks for putting up with us for that week. You guys are awesome! The first picture is Annie trying to pop Tyler's back. It was pretty funny to watch. Then the next pictures are of Hallie and Emma in hyper mode right before (or way beyond) bedtime. They were crazy and laughing so hard about everything. It is so great to have cousins close in age!

Grandma Goodwin
My Grandma Goodwin passed away a week ago today and I thought I should share with you what I learned about her this week. First, I have always know my Grandma to be a sweet, caring person. Someone who would do anything for anyone. How could you not be that way with 7 children, 43 grandchildren, 93 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. The amazing thing about her is that she always did it without the glory of doing it. She always had a way of making you feel like you were the only one who mattered to her. She was great at knowing everything that was going on with everyone in the family and always remembered everyone. She truly was our Angel sent from Heaven.
What I learned this week is what I would consider her greatest work on this earth. Her Testimony of our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know my Grandma has a strong testimony but the depth of it is amazing. As I heard of her life story and each event that took place in it, I saw her testimony in all that she did. What faith she had and what a legacy she left for each of us. She came to earth to teach us but little did I realize the impact she would have. Her testimony will forever burn strong in me and in each that she taught. Each time I hear the words of "I know that my Redeemer lives," I will hear her testimony over again and know that she lived her life to show that. What a blessing it is for me to have had such a wonderful Grandma. To have known someone who was and is so close with our Savior will be one gift that I will treasure throughout my life. I hope that my children will be blessed to feel of that love that she has left.
We love you Grandma and will miss you greatly.

Late 4th of July
We ended up going up to Bountiful to watch the Fireworks with our friends Jon and Amy Miller. It was so much fun. And I am amazed at how w
ALL HAIL!
Most of you may not really appreciate what a thing of beauty and power lays here before you now. I will give you a few pictures to look at/worship. I continue to work, saw Transformers, saw most of my high school buddies, and rode this beast. You throw in my incredible beautiful wife and adorable kids, and I think that I can say that my life kicks bottom.

Stuff.......
We just got back from Lake Powell and just had to report on how much fun we had. It was a family vacation with my family and everyone was able to come. Can you imagine 8 siblings, 6 spouses, 16 grandchildren, and 2 grandparents! It was a blast. My girls absolutely loved riding on the boats and loved playing on the beach. Hallie is already talking about going back. And Annie was in heaven being on grandma's lap the whole time. All in all it was a great vacation. Thanks Tyson and Lori and Kensi and Jessica for planning it. It was much appreciated.
We don't have any pictures to post, sorry! I didn't want sand to get into my camera. I have seen that happen at the lake before!!!!!
Lately, Hallie has really been into cooking and cleaning with me. She is always asking if she can help me and of course I don't turn down good help when it is offered. Her favorite is to crack eggs and to put flour into anything that we are cooking. She made some of the best cookies that we have ever had! I am very impressed with her. But my favorite part is that she had to put her own apron on and luckily grandma had given her one for Christmas one year!
