As I was putting on my deodorant this morning, the smell of it brought back a memory of running with Amy and Marci on the Zoo run. ( I have an awesome smelling deodorant, I wish they would make a lotion out of it) I thought it would be fun to write down things that bring back memories for me so here goes:
* The sound of the dishwasher or washer running at night always makes me think of my mom and being at home with her. She always did her cleaning at night when she wasn't being tormented by her eight children.
* The smell of the heater makes me excited for the winter to come.
* Eating Chili always takes me back to Halloween as a kid. My mom and dad always made chili for us to keep us warm while trick or treating.
* eating corn on the cob or Navajo tacos reminds me of going to the county fair with my family.
* the smell of fresh cut grass makes me think of my Dad mowing the lawn on Saturday mornings while we followed behind him.
* Hearing the song "Hooked on a feeling" always takes me back to driving in the car with Tyler when we were first dating. Him singing the lyrics and me laying back in the chair. He has a great voice by the way.
* The smell of pumpkins and the fall always are my favorite because I love the fall time. Especially in Salt Lake. It is so much fun and makes me want to burn a Fall scented candle all year long.
These are just of few that I have been thinking of lately and I am sure that I will remember more.

Nice work Bree! I really miss running with you and running period. I had the image of you having a clean house, your girls playing, dinner being prepared, and all of the other stuff you do that I am amazed at and then you did this great post. You really are amazing!
Ah memories....It is funny what a smell can do. So many different memories it can recall. That was a good post. It's interesting to see what other people think about when they smell certain things. Hope you guys are doing well, and that you are feeling okay. Keep the posts coming!!
This was very interesting to read... mostly cause it remindes me of a lot of the same things! i CANT WAIT for fall. It is by far my most favortie season! I love you and miss you.
Looks like things are going okay so far. There are definately some advantages to living back east. We loved catching the firefly's when we went to Pennsylvania. You guys are having so many amazing experiences, how lucky! We miss you and loved hanging out with you a little over the summer. Take care, we love ya!
What a fun blog! I loved reading it. Fall is my favorite too. Especially up North. I love driving through the canyons.
Ah the zoo run, why did we EVER do that to ourselves? :) I guess it always felt good when we were done.
We grilled some steaks the other day and I had a flood of fun barbeque memories - it wasn't the same without you!
