Halloween

We had a wonderful Halloween this year. Hallie is old enough to really get excited about it and so made Annie way excited for it. On the 3oth we went to Hallie's preschool for a mini concert. They got to dress up and then sang us all the songs that they have learned so far in school. It was so cute to watch her up there with everyone. She really did great and was not shy. She always did what the teacher asked. Here she is dressed up as a butterfly, one of her many costumes this year!
Later that night we went to the Church for a trunk or treat and fun games. Of course, they didn't want to wear the costumes that we got for this year so we pulled out last years costumes. Hallie loves the monkey one and Annie insisted on being the chicken, even though it was 3 sizes to big for her. It was hilarious to watch her walk around in it because the big stomach rotated. I guess you had to see it to appreciate the funnyness of it. They had a ball at the games and loved the cupcake walk. Plus, any candy that they gave to Annie she hurried and put it in her mouth. I think she was afraid that we were going to take it from her!

On Halloween we had another trunk or treat at Tyler's school. Yes, they dressed up in yet another costume. Annie was snow white and Hallie was cinderella. We didn't get a picture of Hallie because she came later with her friend and then threw a fit the whole time because she didn't want to be there! So here you have Annie in the trunk of our van. She was a great helper with handing out candy. Hallie also decided later that this was the fun part about trunk or treating. But the best part for Hallie was that night going door to door. They still wore the princess' costumes and even wore the dress up shoes to go with it. They were troopers. And they did Awesome! By the end of the night Tyler was caring Hallie on his shoulders and Chris was caring Annie and me and Carrie had the buckets of candy. By the way, the buckets were so heavy that when you handed them to the girls they would fall forward. We had a great Halloween and we hope you all did too!

Oh, here is the picture of the beautiful blanket that my Mom made for Barry. I don't think this picture does it justice. I absolutely love it and can't wait to wrap my little guy up in it! Only 7 days til Grandma Comes!!!
