The girls have both informed me of new names for Barry. It went something like this:
A: Mom, when Barry gets older can we just call him Sam?
M: No Annie, he will always be Barry.
A:*sighing* alright Mom.
And then while walking through the grocery store:
H: Mom, how about we just call Barry Michael?
M: How about we just call him Barry?
H: But I like Michael better.
M: His name is Barry
H: Fine
Maybe they don't like the name Barry?!? But we sure like it and we are so glad to have this little guy with us. We went to his 5 month checkup and found out he was off the charts with everything. Here are his stats:
Weight: 17 lbs 9.6 oz
Length: 25 1/4 inches
Head: 18 1/2 inches
In fact, we have to get an ultrasound of his head to make sure it's ok cause it's so far off the charts. But we all know that big heads run in the family, especially for boys!

That's funny - what a cutie! Does Barry like the sitter that you have him in? I wanted to get one for Abbie, but I was told that chubby babies didn't fit well in them... looks like they were wrong.
We had to get Emma's head checked too because it was so big. It was not a fun! He is a cutie! How is three for you?

hahahaha that is way funny, i just thought they would be calling him barry's and cream! i have a feeling with our family genes and then chris' big head i will be in the same boat! fuuny we came out to visit you for a week and we didnt even make it onto one of your blogs:(

At least the other names they picked for Barry are normal names. It's just a good thing they don't want to call him stinky butt or something like that.
By the way, he's looking so grown up and handsome!
We have yet to come up with a name we like so we put Cole and Kali in charge of the baby name task. Cole came up with the name Nikki and so we agreed it will do but no matter how much we work with Kali on the name she insists it's Mickey. I like Barry and I bet now that he is here no other name would do for him. BIG, TOUGH, SMART Barry!
I love they were really surprised when you told them his name was staying Barry. Too funny!
