Goodbye Grandma...

We took my Mom to the Airport on Wednesday and on the way we stopped to look at all the Church History sights. We first stopped at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. It was beautiful and so peaceful there. My mom loved it and couldn't believe that looking at a field would be so spiritual. We are so blessed to a part of this Gospel and to know and understand who we are. The girls were just grateful to be able to get out of the car and walk around for awhile. Although, Grandma was telling Hallie that Adam and Eve had lived here and that made it more interesting for her. She asked if Lions and Bears lived here too! It was also Tyler's birthday today so we went to Galliton, a town close by, and ate lunch at a fun little place. Tyler is now 28 and was so good to share his birthday with us traveling. He is such an amazing person. We are so excited to be here with him and to help him with all he has to do for our family. We love ya Honey.
Next we went to Far West. It is weird to know that when the saints lived there it was a town of 5000 and now all they have is the lot that has the cornerstones to the temple and a couple of other buildings. Every town that the Saints were kicked out of has not really grown much since. Once again the girls loved being able to run. Only this time they had butterflies to chase. It was fun watching them. I just hope one day they remember all this that they are able to see.
Then we went to Liberty Jail. They have built a building around the jail and rebuilt the Jail itself. It was fun to see it but we were all tired by this point. Plus, the missionary that took us through was a little boring but still told us a lot of interesting things. This is a place that you just have to see for yourself. I took pictures but I don't know if you can get the idea from them so we will just wait to show you when you all come out!!!
After that we had to take my Mom to the airport. We were so sad to see her go. It was like the last piece of home that we had was leaving us. Good thing she comes back in a couple months when the baby is born. We just hope she brings Grandpa with her so she doesn't get so homesick for him! Thank you for all that you did for us Mom. You are such an Angel to us and we are forever grateful for who you are. We love you to the moon and back first and hope that you know that we are missing you so much.
