So we found a nice little place in a good neighborhood for cheap. Here are a few pictures. We talked to the lady and we told her we wanted it, so she said that she would send us an application and stuff for referrals and that. Then this morning we get an email from her saying that she rented it to someone else. Now we are unhappy.
The major things that are frustrating are the following:
1. most of the places to rent are kinda small for our growing family, not terrible, but especially not comfy for others when they come visit.
2. Most of the rentals that aren't real small, are real old. Like Brigham Young could have built some of these places.
3. The nice, larger houses are cheap. We can't get one, at least as far as we have tried, but they are within grasp it feels like. This one is around the corner from the place we tried to rent.

I'm sorry it has been frustrating. I don't know why, but everything that goes along with moving, renting, building is super stressful. Its really annoying! Something better will come along! We will keep you in our prayers.

When we lived in Minnesota, we found that we could buy for basically the same cost as rent. I don't really understand that - you'd think rent would be cheaper if houses were. Of course, that is not the case here in Utah. Don't get me started. Anyway, I hope that you guys find a place you can be comfy and happy. Our kids still talk about our Village apartment and how much they miss it, so it just goes to show that you can be happy anywhere. But I am so freaking glad I have a garage and a dishwasher!
